Living in costal Louisiana along the Gulf Coast, Slidell residents are all to familiar with the annual Hurricane season.  Being situated near many miles of swamp and marshland, we at Fire District #1 have to be all to aware of how hurricanes develope and move toward our home.  Below you will find many of the tracking sites we use to monitor storms as the move into the Gulf of Mexico.
