Message From the Chief

    

It's heating up outside as we approach the summer and I can't help but think about the wonderful opportunities for friends and families to come together and enjoy all that our area has to offer. Certainly our children are enjoying themselves now that they are out of school. While we enjoy all that summer brings, rest assured that the men and women of St. Tammany Fire Protection District No.1 remain vigilant, ready to respond to the call for service.

It goes without saying but summertime brings an increase in travel and more vehicle crashes, heat related illness and injury, natural and man made disasters including severe weather related events. We know that this year is projected to be an active Hurricane season.

OPERATION SAVE A LIFE

    

“Operation Save-A-Life” was created to combat the rise in fire related injuries and deaths due to home fires in our great state. The goal of this statewide initiative is to dramatically reduce these fire related injuries and deaths across the State of Louisiana by providing smoke alarms to vulnerable citizens and at risk communities with the help of your local fire department.
